Lab Technician

The purpose of this position is to carry out assigned laboratory duties which may include sampling, testing, and evaluating analytical data on samples such as raw materials, in-process, and final products. In addition, will also develop and validate analytical methods. You will work closely with all functional areas in Research and Development, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Document Control and Regulatory Affairs.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study (e.g. chemistry, pharmacy, biology, medicine, etc.) from an accredited college or university. 2-5 years combined academic and pharmaceutical industry experience.

Research and Communication Manager

This would be 35 hours per week.
Full Time.
The pay will average from £6.80 - £9.30 per hour depending on experience, training and age.
TRAINING WILL BE INCLUDED.
- Support and enhance fundraising through research communications
- Position Greenfield as the opinion leader and key social influencer in medical research in the UK by providing communications insight into the global research agenda
- Lead on informative and engaging medical research content tailored for each audience and nuanced for each communications platform
- Proactively identify new opportunities to engage people affected in Greenfield's research work and support increased participation in research opportunities
- Work with all teams to ensure Greenfield staff have the skills and knowledge to effectively communicate messages about the progress of medicine research into prevention, treatment and cure February 2019
- Build and manage existing relationships held by the research communications team. Develop new relationships with the medicine research community
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study (e.g. chemistry, pharmacy, biology, medicine, etc.) and Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study (e.g. English, Physiology ect .) from an accredited college or university. 2-5 years combined academic and pharmaceutical industry experience.
Lab Assistant - Animals

This would involve taking caring of animals: This would involve taking caring of animals - Cleaning, Feeding, Grooming, Watering, Giving medical care, assisting with moving animals from one place to another. This would be work with mostly rats and mice.
This would be 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday every week.
The pay will average from £6.80 - £12.31 per hour depending on experience, training and age.
TRAINING WILL BE INCLUDED.

COVID-19 - Update
Due to the fast-spreading nature of COVID-19, all labs in the US and UK will be closed. Any research projects will be halted until the sites can be opened again. This was done to prevent the spread of the virus and protect the workers

What kind of research do you do?
This is an important question.
We research different subject which all revolve around Medicine, Biology and Chemistry as a whole however we mostly focus on Medicine. We are currently studying the Human Body and Micro-Organisms (viruses, bacteria)

Do you keep test subjects?
Sadly yes. We wish we could test certain things on a non living subject but for our research into certain aspects of medicine; we require living cells and organisms like from rats.
We never use any substances to make the organisms suffer however and we only use them when needed.
